“Art-See at Sea,” group exhibi-tion of Manila-based artists opens Dec. 2, at Pupung Bar & Grill in Mariveles, Bataan.
Participating artists are Jeremiah Tallent, Rafael “Boy” Ramos Gozom Jr., Kristoffer Gozom, Eleanor Giron, Lougee Basabas-Alejandro, Piaget Marcelino, Francis Commeyne, Ali Alejandro, Bibi Belgica, Cid Reyes and Mary Ann Reyes.

Maratas at Ysobel
“Sad Excuses,” Ronante Maratas’ solo exhibition, opens Nov. 27 at Ysobel Art Gallery.
Exhibition will feature seven of the artist’s paintings, each is a manifestation of the artist’s both mundane and cerebral meditation.

Aquilizans at MO_ Space
“Nothing to Declare Project: Another Country” is a collaboration between Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan. It opens Nov. 30 at MO_Space.
Using transport pallets as material stimulus, the artists contemplate on their previous work with ethnic “Badjao” children in Davao. Brutally displaced from their homes, the children and their families have had to live in temporary settlements (“captive villages”) that are distinct amalgamations of shoreline and urban dwellings.

Barrioquinto in London
IN LONDON Filipino artist Andres Barrioquinto (center) was the lone Filipino artist at the Start Artfair recently held at Saatchi Gallery in London. His participation was facilitated by One East Asia Singapore. Start Artfair was organized by Parallel Contemporary Art and Saatchi Gallery.
