Making a holiday centerpiece for your foyer table, coffee table or dining table is easy as 1-2-3 if you take stock of what you have. A little reinvention and repurposing won’t break the bank, plus there’s nothing like a tableau created by you!
We found some glass containers filled with shells and starfish, normally used for beachside decor and entertaining. Why not transform them into something more apt for the season?
You will need:
Glass containers with seaside finds
(Glass containers from landmark)
Rummage through your us ed Christmas decor; often times as the years go by we change the themes and colors of our Christmas decor. Look at what you have and color coordinate so you can somehow re-use them again.
Some stores sell Christmas decor that can be used and re-purposed (balls and things from Landmark and SM home).
Gather your old decor and use them to fill the glass containers. An assortment of ornaments can be mixed with pinecones, ribbons and whatever you have that will merrily mix into the theme.
Place the containers with Christmas decor on a table and on the base, spread out some loose pine sprays.
Mix in leftover balls and pinecones to echo the general theme.
Adding elements around the base extends the dimension and texture to the overall arrangement.
