McDonald’s Tagaytay Calamba Road will officially open its doors to the public on December 10, 2016.
Here’s what customers can look forward to when they visit this latest addition to the McDonald’s stores:
Design
The design of the store is intended to create an enhanced Tagaytay lounging and dining experience. Since Tagaytay is a famous weekend or day trip destination for families and friends, McDonald’s wanted to match the experience that people are looking for when they go here with a look that’s fresh and unique. From the exterior, customers are greeted with a different look that sets the Tagaytay Calamba Road store apart from other McDonald’s stores in the Philippines.
Inspired from the site
Materials like raw concrete, brick, and wood were used in the construction and design of the site. McDonald’s made use of these materials because they give the store a strong connection to the natural beauty of Tagaytay. The way it was built also took inspiration from where the store is located — the store is on the main road, but also has a gorgeous view of the Taal lake. Elements like the dining spaces, al fresco area, and other outdoor areas extend and blend in with the natural landscape and environment.
Form of the structure
The strong physical gesture of the canopy marks the entrance to where the start of a relaxing McDonald’s Tagaytay experience begins. It’s different from the usual entrances of other McDonald’s stores.
The al fresco
The store’s al fresco areas show a thoughtful integration of landscape features that serves as a relaxing backdrop for the picturesque Taal lake view.
McCafe
An element that differentiates this store is the floor dedicated entirely to McCafe, where customers can enjoy a wide array of specialty coffee drinks, cakes, and other pastries.
