Hours before the Inquirer Lifestyle’s To be You “Street Style” book launch, the event’s co-host, student-model Hannah Locsin, was having her face done. Her makeup: Becca Cosmetics.
The beauty brand is known for giving women a fresh, glowing and dewy look.
One of the biggest makeup trends these days is strobing, a technique that results in luminous, dewy and lit-from-within skin.
Adding a bit of sparkle in
the right places makes a huge
difference in brightening the skin. Becca Cosmetics’ liquid and powder product lines leave women with a perfect glow.
1 To give Hannah’s face a natural glow, I applied Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation. It is lightweight, dewy and wears like skin.
2 To cover her eyes’ dark circles, I used Ultimate Coverage Concealing Crème, which is pigmented and provides good
coverage. It works perfectly with the foundation.
3 Then I put on some beach tint on her cheeks and lips for a fresh, rosy glow. I love that it’s waterproof and long-wearing.
4 Back to her eyes: I used blushed copper as an eye shadow and used a wet brush.
5 Last but not least, I applied highlight shade in the highlight/lowlight palette on areas that I want to bring forward—like the tops of the cheekbones, brow bone, bridge of the nose, and cupid’s bow.
6 I finished off by dabbing loose powder all over her skin to set her makeup and make it last all day.
