Just like in other international branches such as New York and Chicago, blockbuster lines greeted Jollibee’s opening of its first branch in frosty Winnipeg, Canada.

The “Langhap Sarap” craze enticed Filipinos and Canadians alike to taste all-time Filipino favorites amid the harsh snowy weather in the Manitoban city.

Three of these curious Canadians were hosts of the “The Ace Burpee Show,”which airs on Virgin Radio Winnipeg. The trio composed of Ace Burpee, Chrissy Troy and LTI, decided to binge on some staples of the Philippines’ treasured fast-food chain, such as Chickenjoy, peach mango pie and Jolly Spaghetti.

“There are hot dogs in my spaghetti, which I love,” LTI said about the sweet spaghetti.

Troy gave a thumbs-up for Chickenjoy, which she described as crispy and perfectly moist. She even fancied the fried chicken’s gravy, which she likened to a “big, warm hug.” Aside from the chicken and gravy, Troy fancied the peach mango pie. “Nice, warm peach mango pie on this chilly morning,” she said.

What’s Jollibee’s verdict, according to the hosting trio?“This is so cool,” Troy exclaimed.
