Barely weeks before she steps down from her throne, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach spent her chilly holidays on the ice skating rink in New York City.
Wurtzbach shared her first-time experience on Miss Universe’s Instagram account on Monday, where she is seen gliding with Miss USA Deshauna Barber and Miss Teen USA Karlie Hay. They also tried several snacks along the streets, including Fried Pickle Sickle.
“Temptation number 2, guys. I’ve only been here for five minutes,” Wurtzbach says while staring at the snack.
She is expected to return to the Philippines next month to crown her Miss Universe heir. After her reign, Wurtzbach will be assigned as the Philippines’ tourism ambassador alongside boxing champion Sen. Manny Pacquiao. Likewise, she will enroll in classes at the New York Film Academy and pursue an acting career.
The glamorous Miss Universe pageant will commence on January 30, 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Maxine Medina will represent the Philippines and compete with over 160 contestants from around the world. Gianna Francesca Catolico
