Karada Japanese Body Therapy opened its 10-bed branch at the fifth level of SM Megamall Building B.
People seeking to recharge can stop at the wellness center for an hour or two of Karada’s signature treatments. The center also offers shorter sessions (20 minutes and 45 minutes) to accommodate clients with busy schedules.
Since the launch of its first branch at Glorietta in 2012, Karada has expanded with more locations in Metro Manila.
Unlike the usual spas and massage studios that offer temporary relief from stiff muscles and body aches, Karada promotes wellness through prevention.
With roots in Japan, the center specializes in the age-old tradition of restoring the body’s inner balance through muscle and bone alignment, as opposed to merely kneading and applying pressure on the body.
A session starts with a trained therapist assessing a client’s condition and problem areas. The therapist will then make a recommendation on the most suitable treatment to be performed.
