Binalot, a chain of restaurants that serves classic Pinoy meals wrapped in banana leaves, recently added four more franchised branches in Nueva Ecija, Cubao, Sampaloc and Muntinlupa.
Binalot serves hot meals wrapped in banana leaves ready for takeout, picnics, lunch packs and catering for events. Leaf-packed meals include TapaRapSarap, Vivo Tocino, Anytime Inihaw and Fiesta Adobo, all served with salted egg and tomatoes.
More stores are planned on the brand’s 20th anniversary.
“We want to serve the Filipinos who are far away from home,” said Rommel Juan, Binalot founder and CEO. “There are more than 10 million Filipino OFWs who want to eat food that reminds them of family and the warm feeling of home.”
For the local expansion plans, Binalot continues to accept franchise applicants from Visayas and Mindanao. It now has stores in Bohol, Iloilo and Davao.
