32 Sanson by Rockwell, in partnership with HoliCOW, recently presented “HIMÔ: A Space + Making Fair.” Showcasing their pieces were internationally renowned furniture and accessory brands Co-Creative Studio, Coast Pacific, General Bleu, Hacienda Crafts, Interlace, Mehitabel, Obra Cebuana, Vito Selma and Debbie Palao, among others.
Celebrating Visayan craftsmanship, HIMÔ highlighted locally made and sustainable furniture, accessories and home décor items. The gathering was designed to make homemaking even more special for Cebuanos with local music, food and art.
Local artists from Qube Gallery were invited to showcase their pieces, La Marea and ECHOstore set up shop for the foodies in attendance, while Sistemang Pilipino and Hacienda Santa Rosalia Rondalla’s music serenaded guests.
“HIMÔ: A Space + Making Fair” was originally conceived as an exclusive, semiprivate affair centered around the turnover of 32 Sanson by Rockwell’s first units to its owners in December 2016. Established as a premier spot in Cebu’s real estate landscape, 32 Sanson has come to be synonymous with an elevated lifestyle, grounded in the easygoing culture Cebu City is known for.
Chiefly curated by the HoliCOW team, HIMÔ embodied HoliCOW’s thrust for “sustainability, traceability and the Filipino identity.”
With HoliCOW’s reach, HIMÔ aimed to bring not just Cebu-based designers and brands, but also artisans from around the Visayas, and possibly Mindanao as well.
