The fabled dragon dance is a festive opener for SmartKids Asia Philippines (SKAP), to be launched on the auspicious date of Chinese New Year.

SmartKids Asia is an edutainment kids’ fair that will be held at the SMX Convention Center from February 28 to 29, 2017, from 10AM to 8PM.

That colorful presentation is just the first of many during the two-day event. Now entering into its third year, SKAP continues to provide an exciting slate of educational activities that parents and kids will surely enjoy.

Classes and booths

SKAP is all set to once again bring opportunities of fun learning experiences to parents and children. Family-oriented brands will bring in their own creative stage performances and activities which include dance numbers with mascots; mind-stretching games with prizes; and arts and crafts sessions, among others.

Another highlight of the event are the free complimentary classes. For two days, SKAP attendees can avail the Smart Trial Classes that will tackle coding introduction classes; cooking demos; creative sessions; financial wellness talks; and a mental arithmetic discussion, to name a few. According to the SKAP organizers, it is best to register as early as possible because only 40 slots are available for the classes due to limited space.

At the exhibition grounds, participants are encouraged to go around the area to visit the interactive booths. There will be over a 100 exhibitors at the event that will offer their own games, raffle activities, and product sampling for the attendees.

On the side of the venue, parents will find a play area for kids and a couple of food stalls selling yummy snacks and drinks.
