When Slim’s Fashion & Arts School students were asked to come up with creations for their school’s annual exhibit, many chose to reimagine the barong Tagalog for the modern times. Interpretations of the traditional garb ranged from David Bowie-inspired to a piece with a K-Pop vibe. Here are some works that stood out in the exhibit:
