Heritage cities forum series at DLSU Feb. 8-9

The Heritage Manila, Heritage Cities Forum Series will be held Feb. 8-9, 12:45-4 p.m., at the Verdure, 4/F, Henry Sy Sr. Hall, De La Salle University, Manila.

It is part of the program on “Reliving Heritage: Fora and Workshop on Philippine Art and Local Cultures.” Its modest aim is to promote a sustained, critical forum on Philippine art traditions and heritage. Through dialogues and fora, experts and specialists can present their insights and viewpoints to illumine art, culture and heritage for the 21st century spectators and students, who in turn will respond and offer alternate perspectives and even feasible courses of action. This modest endeavor might lead to the rethinking of issues and concerns of city living and provide the challenge to make our city a better place to dwell in.

Keynote speakers are Dennis Cremin, professor of history at Lewis University in Illinois, and Augusto Villalon, Principal Architect and Cultural Tourism and Heritage Conservation Specialist of A Villalón Architects.
