One week after the pageant, some Miss Universe candidates are still in the Philippines, enjoying its famed beaches.
Carolyn Carter from the US Virgin Islands took her time to explore paradisiacal Palawan. After visiting the famous Puerto Princesa Underground River, she went all the way to the white-sand beaches of Snake Island and Big Lagoon in El Nido.
“7,107 islands and I will explore you all,” she captioned her Instagram post.
Aside from Carter, Miss Universe Germany Johanna Acs is also enjoying the summery heat in Palawan with her family.
“Enjoying every ray of sunshine here in the Philippines. Not missing the winter in Germany,” she captioned her photo. “Dreaming of having this weather every day at home as well…Why can’t I just take the sun home with me?”
She added: “Not going home yet! Philippines, you are so beautiful! So excited to see more of your breathtaking country and explore the beautiful island of Palawan with my family.”
Meanwhile, Miss Universe Israel Yam Kaspers Anshel is enjoying the beaches on Boracay Island.
New Zealand Tania Dawson capped her vacation in Cebu and said that she would return to the country in June.
