León Gallery will hold a special online auction on the contents of “Amanpili” on March 18 (Sunday) through www.leonexchange.com. Preview will start on March 16.
“Amanpili” refers to the home of “a very distinguished lady in South Forbes Park,” said León Gallery owner Jaime Ponce de Leon.
“She has hosted fabulous parties for the most beautiful people of Manila,” he added.
The house has become too big, Ponce de Leon explained, “hence the contents of the most coveted party address have to go.”
Important items ranging from china to silverware, paintings, carpets and furniture of very high quality will all be up for auction. —CONTRIBUTED
