Plastic construction toys Lego will always have a special place in our hearts regardless of our age.
Whether you’re a kid or a kid at heart, the allure of the miniature and colorful building blocks is too hard to resist.
However, not every surface is “Lego-friendly” and it may be a struggle to find a suitable resting place for our mini-creations.
Lo and behold, design studio Nimuno has introduced rolls of colorful, cuttable and Lego-compatible tapes that could be stuck onto any surface.
Dubbed as the “Nimuno Loops,” the ingenious creation has an adhesive backing, which can be plastered onto walls and floors.
“Imagine being able to build around corners, on curved surfaces, or even onto the sides of that sailing ship you’ve just spent hours building,” Nimuno said in a statement.
Moreover, the tape is compatible with Lego, Mega Bloks, Kreo and “most major toy building block systems.”
As of this writing, “Nimuno Loops” are available for preorder on its website, and is estimated to be shipped sometime in July.
A couple of two-meter rolls would cost $12 (P604), while a bundle of 10 has a price tag of $50 (P2,517). /ra
