Growing up in Colorado as an exchange student, Philip Dizon learned to develop black-and-white photos of Colorado’s landscapes.
He enhanced his skills at University of California, Los Angeles, taking up a weekend course on fashion photography. He worked in a photo studio he eventually made his own.
Derived from the French term of “landscape,” “Paysage” delivers landscapes in various glorified essence. From mountain ranges to seaside ports, Dizon shows places that seem otherworldly yet could paint memories of home.
Through this solo exhibit, Dizon wants to brand his works as those which can eradicate pessimism, saying: “At the end of the day, wherever you are, you can aspire for and dream of a better life I want them to be inspired by how beautiful our world is.”—CONTRIBUTED
