Tom’s Story

T0226super-indie album toms

Their first self-titled album is a hit—it plunges you into a vivid and dreamy soundscape. Its magnetic melodies and guitar licks are powerful enough to subject its listeners to wonder. But the band earlier revealed that the second album won’t come out this 2017.

We just hope the following artists don’t follow their example, because we’re dying to hear new tracks!

SUD — ‘Skin’

The first album released by the seven-pieced band, “Skin” is soulfully sensual. Its eight tracks are beautifully paralleled by spoken word pieces performed by Words Anonymous to create a narrative that speaks to the senses and most especially, the callings of the flesh.

Jensen and the Flips — ‘Honeymoon’

It tells a chronological narrative with its tracks, starting with falling in love and ending with closure. It experiments with distinct sounds from rock acoustic to jazz, and even vintage Motown, with equally hypnotic grooves.

BP Valenzuela — ‘The Neon Hour’

BP plays around layers of distinct energies and catchy melodies telling stories of love, loss, and gray areas in between. Its tracks are emotionally and unapologetically raw with vocals that are delicately calming.

Dearest, — ‘Dearest,’

It effortlessly serenades you with crisp vocals, and produces fresh yet seemingly familiar sounds. The songs explore the wonders and woes of young love—tracks the romantic and the jaded would both swoon over.
