On April 9, Palm Sunday, Heritage Conservation of Malolos president Rheeza Hernandez discusses the art of puni or coconut leaf-weaving. Hernandez is also an advocate for Bulacan’s culinary heritage, a volunteer local tour guide and is active in community theater.
On April 16, Easter Sunday, “Art 2 Art ” features The Company, the most successful vocal group in the country. Current members Sweet Plantado, Annie Quintos, Cecile Bautista, Reuben Laurente and Moy Ortiz explain the longevity of the group now marking its 32nd anniversary.
On April 23, “Art 2 Art” marks International Dance Day (April 29) with Aharon Solomon, director general of the internationally renowned Karmiel Dance Festival, the biggest dance celebration in Israel.
On April 30, the program caps the month with sculptor Daniel de la Cruz.
