From one Miss Universe to another, Filipina beauty queen Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach paid a visit to her successor and reigning titleholder Iris Mittenaere of France who is now based in New York.
Mittenaere took to her official Instagram account to share a photo of her with Wurtzbach.
“Look who came by for a visit! Check out Facebook.com/missuniverse to watch our Facebook live!” Mittenaere wrote.
Wurtzbach’s mentor Jonas Gafud, president of Mercator Artist and Model Management, also shared a photo of the two Misses Universe on his Instagram page.
“Had fun watching these two Queens earlier at the Miss Universe apartment,” Gafud wrote.
The Filipina beauty queen passed on her crown to Mittenaere, a dental surgery studnt, during the Miss Universe pageant in Manila last January. Wurtzbach appears as guest judge in the current season of Asia’s Next Top Model this April.
Wurtzbach’s name also surfaced as a possible replacement for Angel Locsin in an upcoming “Darna” film, but she said ABS-CBN might have other plans for her. YG
