On one fateful night at the Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital in Stafford, Vancouver, Canada one elderly dog got tired of his little room and decided to get some fresh air.
“General,” a Great Pyrenees aged around 10 years old was caught on camera, as he casually waltzed out of the animal clinic, easily opening at least four doors in the process, as shown in the video.
He had been placed in the care of the clinic while his family of eight visited relatives in Virginia Beach.
“He’s a little Houdini,” owner Travis Campbell told ABC7 News. “When it comes to doors, he can get a lot of doors open.”
According to ABC7 News, General had been on the loose for around 15 hours. The free-loading senior was brought back to the clinic at around 7 p.m.
The pooch was later spotted napping in a yard a short distance from the clinic. Stafford animal control officers assisted in General’s retrieval.
It appears elderly humans are not the only ones prone to boredom, sitting in a hospital clinic all day long. Alfred Bayle/JB
