Shangri-La Plaza presents Shang Chocolate Wonderland, a week-long celebration that kicks off Easter Sunday, April 16, and runs until April 23, at the mall’s East and Main Atria.
It’s a common belief that chocolate triggers happiness, so Shang Chocolate Wonderland should draw chocolate lovers.
Easter Sunday will be one big party with stilt walkers, musicians, magicians, jugglers and dancers—featuring chocolate-inspired mall decor and grand chocolate fountain.
Joining the fair are Shang tenants Candy Corner, Epicurious, Marks & Spencer, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Rustan’s Supermarket, Villa del Conte and Wicked, and the prestigious Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts (Edsa Shangri-La Manila, Makati Shangri-La and Shangri-La at the Fort), and international brands Toblerone, Cadbury, Hershey’s Slushies and Kinder Chocolate Cereals.
Local chocolate enterprises and chocolatiers are represented: Theo & Philo, Malagos Chocolates, Coco Dolce, Hiraya Chocolates, Cacao de Davao, Chocoliz, Top Chefs, ChocoATBP., Cocoa Monster, Machiavelli and Manila Chocolatier, NIJI Desserts, Choco-Liquor Cakes by Maricar Reyes-Poon, BiteSize PH, Truffles by K, Hungry Pac, Agueda Manila, Raneese PB Cups, TsokoFino, Ginto Premium Chocolates, Top Chefs, Shorts Gourmet and CMBV Confectionaires.
Kids can meet adorable characters Dibo (April 16) and Pororo (April 18).
There will be free sampling of chocolate confections, demos and workshops on chocolate making, choco decorations, and special promotions.
