Got a real story about Makati? Share it—in video format.

To be You and MakeItMakati are holding a video contest for students from April to May.

Following the contest’s theme, “Real stories of Makati,” entries must visually capture the uniqueness of Makati through its people, events or destinations. The stories must be seen through the fresh eyes of millennials.

This is To be You’s way of giving the youth an outlet for creative self-expression.

A grand winner, first and second runners-up will be chosen from the entries. Winners will receive gift certificates ranging from P5,000 to P15,000.

Contest rules

All bona fide high school and college students nationwide are eligible to join the contest. Each contestant (whether individual or groups of up to three members) is limited to one entry only.

Entries must follow the contest theme and run no longer than one minute.

Participants must submit one or two past video works, for screening by the committee.

Deadline for entries is May 15.

Send entries to lifestyle.inquirer@gmail.com.ph or inq.tobeyou@gmail.com.

Philippine Daily Inquirer and Ayala Land executives and creative artists will serve as the panel of judges.
