L’expedition d’art en France” is a panel discussion that hopes to reintroduce the works of Macario Vitalis through the narratives of Claude Tayag, and to share the artistic opportunities available to Filipinos in France through the Philippine Artist Residency Program of Alliance Française de Manille.
Select works of Vitalis from the Lopez Museum and Library’s permanent collection are included in the exhibition “Pauses of Possibility,” which runs until June 17. It features works by contemporary artists Marina Cruz, Kara de Dios, Elaine Navas and Pam Yan Santos, and is curated by Ricky Francisco.
Registration fees are P115 for students, teachers and seniors, and P130 for adults.
“L’expedition d’art en France” will be on May 6, 2-4 p.m., at the Lopez Museum and Library. It is co-presented by Alliance Française de Manille and sponsored by Gourmet Farms, Inc.
