Singaporean shoe and accessories brand Charles & Keith is celebrating art and fashion this summer, with artist collaborations in all its markets for a digital campaign, interpreting its season collection suffused in floral and butterfly themes.

Embroidered backpack against Maniquiz’s art

At the Bench Tower’s Playground last week, Suyen Corp. hosted a preview party in a venue covered with the works of graphic designer and digital illustrator Raxenne Maniquiz. Maniquiz’s digitally enhanced illustrations take inspiration from the embroideries on shoes and bags, as well as the hardware in some of the pieces.

The artist’s work was complemented by an edible art installation by cake artist Yumi Castrillo, who created cupcakes adorned with edible poppy sugar flowers, 24k-gold butterflies and gumpaste leaves.

In other countries, the brand worked with fashion illustrators and mixed-media artists.

The season’s collection consists of ladylike pumps and strappy sandals in lace or with gold embellishments, embroidered flowers, and spike elements.

The palette is muted, in dusty pinks, grays and blacks.
The collection will be in Charles & Keith boutiques by mid-May. Every purchase of items worth P5,000 and up will come with a limited edition tote bag.
