There’s no such thing as having too much Chickenjoy or chicken nuggets. But sometimes, we turn to our fast-food favorites a bit too much that our tastebuds crave for something exciting with a more diverse palate of flavors that come in a variety of meats and ingredients come hump day.

For the busy bees, preparing home-cooked meals and dining out can be a chore, and they easily rely on fast-food deliveries for quick meal breaks or even late-night munchies. But what if we tell you your favorite restaurant dishes could be delivered right at your doorstep?

The moment you sign up on foodpanda, you’ll realize you’ve found your foodie godmother. Available as a website and mobile app, foodpanda has over a thousand restaurant partners and delivers to the biggest cities in the country including NCR, Pampanga, Baguio, Davao, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro and more.

Foodpanda makes things easy with a P59 fixed delivery fee and a P200 minimum order requirement—but it also has its limitations. For one, the list of restaurants you can order from are based on your location, as not all branches of their restaurant partners are capable of making deliveries. You might just have to cross your fingers that the food gods are in your favor.

Super tips: The mobile app is so much more convenient to use as it notifies you with every step of the delivery process: confirmation of order, preparation of meals, rider’s arrival at the restaurant branch, and rider’s arrival at your address. The app even has a running countdown to guarantee the delivery makes it within the promised time.

Make sure you also order an hour and a half before you actually want to eat. Most of the restaurants take more than an hour to get the deliveries done, and you don’t want get caught during the restaurant’s busy hours, when you will have to wait a while before the app will allow you to place an order. If you have a big celebration coming up, you can order from foodpanda one week in advance.

Here are our go-to foodpanda restos:

FRANKIE’S BUFFALO WINGS

Nothing beats Frankie’s bang-for-the-buck chicken wings. Make sure you ask them to separate the sauce for non-dry rub flavors to keep its chicken skin crunchy—it stays that way too an hour after it gets delivered to your place (trust us, we’ve tried and tested).

PEPPER LUNCH

The delivery may take out the fun of cooking your own yakiniku strips and burger steaks, but think of how fun the idea of being able to eat tender Japanese-style beef drenched in flavourful sauces topped in equally tasty gohan is wherever you are.

POTATO CORNER

We know fries have an average lifespan of five minutes (if it even lasts as much as five minutes in your hands), and a little bit after that it gets soggy. But if you’re the type who likes soggy fries, or loves your flavored fries no matter what state they’re in, fret no more cause this app will solve your everyday Potato Corner craving.

SHI LIN

Get all kinds of dumplings, as well as their best-selling xiao long bao. Craving for that distinct Chinese umami taste? Go for the braised beef noodles and wonton soup and end the meal with red bean pancakes or salted egg custard buns.

SEÑOR POLLO

You won’t make a mistake with their roasted and fried chicken meals, but we recommend the Sisig Rice Bowl as those chunks of white meat and crispy chicken skin on chimichurri rice is a heavenly recovery bowl.

CHUBBY CHICKEN

Order those big-sized, deep-fried treats like the Chubby Oreo and Chubby Chicken Strips from your student years.

LAZY BASTARD

Bacon Cheeseburger, Tater Bombs with cheese and bacon, Honey Parmesan hotdog, Chilli Dog, bacon kimchi, do we need to say more? You could also get creative and build your own all-day breakfast sandwich—
how does hashbrown “buns” sound to you?

VANILLA CUPCAKE BAKERY

If you happen to crave for sugary goodies while watching “Cupcake Wars” or “2 Broke Girls,” order some of their moist red velvet and Reese’s peanut butter cupcakes. They also have a wide range of pasta dishes and Filipino comfort food.

RED MANGO

Want a healthy dessert? They deliver the classic and green tea-flavored froyo that’s good enough to share with the family, as well as froyo parfaits that we’re sure you wouldn’t want to share.

COLDSTONE

Maybe you’re looking for something fancier than the usual convenience store picks, or maybe an (drama) emergency calls for some cake batter and cookie dough ice cream.

HAPPY LEMON

Too hooked up to get your milk tea fix? No worries, your favorite Milk Tea with Oreo and even the Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese will be there in a jiffy.

KRISPY KREME

Last minute meeting or office birthday surprise? Doughnut worry and get the Original Glazed or assorted Doughnut Tower, or Double Dozen + Brewbox deal that’s good for at least six people.
