British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to judge a burger cook-off between two contestants.

While promoting his new show “The F Word” on Friday (Thursday in the US), Ramsay had to choose which between a Bison and Chorizo Double Stacked Burger and a Pork Adobo Burger stood out based on his taste preference.

The Pork Adobo Burger, which was prepared by 25-year-old Maura Hohman, was oozing with juices and seasonings. The burger patty was a mixture of grounded bacon and adobo staples such as soy sauce, pepper, bay leaves and vinegar.

Ramsay lauded Hohman’s burger and recognized that she used the Filipino favorite pan de sal instead of the usual burger bun. “It’s seasoned beautifully,” Ramsay complimented. “And the bun, that’s a traditional Filipino bread. It’s delicious.”

Despite praising the rival’s dish, Ramsay picked Hohman’s Filipino-inspired burger as the segment’s star. “I’m going with the Filipino burger,” he said.
