At the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” press conference in Singapore, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige answered some pretty heavy questions about the Marvel Cinematic Universe via Skype from Los Angeles.
Now that “Spider-Man” and “Daredevil” are both in the MCU, will we see them together on screen?
No plans for that as yet. The best thing about having a unified universe is you can choose to do something, or choose not to. That being said, I never say never.
What happens to the MCU after the events of “Captain America: Civil War”?
How the MCU deals with “Civil War” will be dealt with in “Avengers: Infinity War” and will be touched on in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
Will we ever see Asian actors playing Asian characters in the MCU?
Yes. We are looking at characters both big and small for Phase 4, or whatever comes after Phase 3.
What’s in the future for the MCU?
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is the 16th film in the MCU. The first “book” of the MCU will finish with a total of 22 films in 2019. Then everything will be different. —RUEL S. DE VERA
