A reader’s footstool

For all the bookworms and readers out there, here’s a DIY activity that will delight you!

We’ve all got those extra magazines and books we don’t quite want to throw or give away.

Stack them up together; for added comfort, add a pillow on top and secure with a belt, and you’ve got an interesting stool for added seating or to rest your feet on while kicking back on your chair.

Here’s what you’ll need:

FEATURED STORIES

Materials: old magazines, a small rectangular throw pillow, a belt

Stack magazines and nestle the throw pillow above them.

Secure the magazines and the throw pillow with a belt.

Fasten the belt tightly. Your reading footstool is ready for use.
