Paint your denim at the Penshoppe #DoNoMistake DIY bar | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Forget the current trend of pins and patches.

It’s time to get dirty with your favorite denim and turn it into a fashionable canvas. Sure, paint on a pair of jeans may be old news, but it’s one that we let dominate the headlines once again as it transforms wardrobe basics into street standouts.

Penshoppe’s Denimlab line provides the trendiest staples every season, and every year they amp up the denim game with their DIY bar popups. Running only until Wednesday, July 26, the #DoNoMistake Denim DIY Bar at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Area lets you get creative with four design stations.

It’s up to you how to make your customized denim speak of your style and personality. The DIY bar’s design stops are mainly denim distressing, hand-painting, silkscreening and patching stations.

A minimum purchase of P500 gives you a pass for one design station, P1000 for two, and P1500 for three customizations.

We loved the silkscreen paint service with illustrations by artists Archie Geotina and KITA. You would definitely wish you had enough denim to put all their huge statement designs on.

You’d also spot the two artists at the hand-painting station, either splattering paint or carefully drawing contemporary emoji-like designs on your denim. We asked them to sign our Penshoppe picks for that extra artistic touch.

It will take a while before you get to bring home your chic denim finds, but trust us, the wait is worth it.

If you still want trendy patches on your newest favorite pair of jeans, no one’s stopping you. Here’s a Super tip: Download the Penshoppe app on your smartphone and present the app membership code to get a free patch!

Catch the Penshoppe Denim DIY bar until July 26, at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Area.
