On Aug. 26, 5 p.m., during the monthly assembly of the Philippine PEN (Poets & Playwrights, Essayists, Novelists), in an intimate setting at Solidaridad Bookshop, writer-TV personality Lourd de Veyra will perform an experimental jazz poetry recital.
Backed by an ensemble consisting of a bass player, a drummer and a trumpet player, the recital will also feature elements of avant electronic noise.
De Veyra has published eight books and is a TV5 news presenter.
Solidaridad is on P. Faura Street, Ermita, Manila.
