CRWN, or King Puentespina, is an artist who needs no introduction. The electronic producer has been on a roll since 2014, consistently releasing a slew of ambient beats and introspective melodies—rising to the top of the charts together with his frequent collaborators, Jess Connelly and Curtismith.
Following his last release with Clara Benin almost a year ago, CRWN drops his latest single, “Still Life.” The track is part of his upcoming beat tape, Orchid, which is slated for release on June 2. Drawing from the title alone, “Still Life” is everything you’d expect from King’s slow and saccharine R&B flavor. It’s the soundtrack to your midweek repose, the background score built for your bedroom, and the cue for you to take it easy.
