You may have seen photos of the dazzling Tree of Life at the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) these past few weeks. It’s a huge helix which is actually an elevator up to the fifth floor that appears as a tree.
Now, you may also see photos of the life-size replica of Lolong, the world’s largest crocodile in captivity, on your social media feed as the museum had a one-day open house last Oct. 29. It’s for the celebration of the National Museum’s 116th founding anniversary.

The third historical government building, which completes the National Museum Complex, welcomed 900 people to the preview of the exhibitions on its second floor. It houses displays of flora and fauna in the country, as well as interactive activities and models. One of the activities is tracing of dried plants.
