PLDT Home urged netizens later Friday night to help Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2017 Rachel Peters win in the 66th Miss Universe, whose coronation night will be held at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, Nov. 26 (morning of Saturday, Nov. 27, in the Philippines).
In its Facebook page, PLDT Home said netizens could help by voting for Peters at the Miss Universe website (vote.missuniverse.com) or by tweeting #MissUniverse #Philippines. #PLDTHome
“She’s beautiful, strong-willed and ready to conquer the universe,” PLDT Home said. “As one nation, help Rachel Peters bring HOME the crown.”
In turn, Peters, who is also PLDT home ambassador, said: “I am motivated and focused on my goal to bring pride to the Philippines. The stories and journeys of the previous queens have inspired me. I think the best way to honor their legacy is to give my best.”
For the past four years, PLDT Home has been partnering with Bb-Pilipinas Charities Foundation Inc. in support of women who make an impact on the international stage.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, who is one of the judges in this year’s pageant, is also an ambassador for PLDT Home, along with Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2014 MJ Lastimosa and Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2016 Maxine Medina. /atm
