Christmas has never failed to be a wonderful, magical experience every year for a lot of us. But sometimes, we forget the person who is constantly working behind the scenes every holiday season, making sure every get-together and potluck dinner goes without a hitch.
To honor every mother working behind the scenes of every holiday get-together, Lady’s Choice released a short video that shows just how much they do for their loved ones every Christmas. See the video below:
That’s right—behind every perfect Noche Buena and family reunion, moms are working almost nonstop to give their families the best, most memorable holiday experience. While everyone is enjoying the holiday break, moms are normally in one of their busiest times ever!
They are squeezing their way through crowded malls to shop for presents for lolo and lola, tito and tita, including all the godchildren and nephews and nieces. On top of their list of course are their own kids—a new toy for bunso, the bag that ate was eyeing at the mall, the pair of shoes kuya talked about one night—and their hubby.
They are decorating the house with lanterns and lights, adorning the doors, windows and halls with wreaths and garlands, and filling the Christmas tree with all kinds of glittery and shiny ornaments.
They are wrapping the gifts in beautiful and colorful Christmas wrappers topped with elegant ribbons, and are arranging them neatly under the tree.
And on Christmas Day, on the culmination of all their preparations during the past weeks, they’re still constantly on their feet: making sure everyone has enough food on their plate, taking plenty of photos to document the once-a-year gathering, and overall just making sure that everyone is having a good time.
On top of everything, moms also provide our get-togethers (and our tummies!) with the best home-cooked dishes and holiday delights like everyone’s favorite, macaroni salad. Pinoy Christmas just isn’t complete without a heaping bowl of macaroni salad in the middle of our dining tables!
Truly, our mothers are the yearly secret Santas we sometimes forget to thank. Make sure you don’t forget to thank her this Christmas! ADVT
