Colored optic glass sculptures on view at Joaquin-Podium

“My Happy Place”
“3 wishes”

Seeing certain colors trigger an emotional reaction that signals our body to increase the oxygen supply to the brain.

Among these shades is orange, which has been used as trademark of royalty such as the monarchs of the Netherlands and Thailand. This color is symbolic of strength and endurance, two qualities that make for a promising new year.

Glass sculpture artist Marge Organo embraces the color of warmth in her latest show “Glimmering Illuminations.” This collection features Organo’s skillfully colored optic glass sculptures in warm tonal hues that range from orange to red. Breathing new innovation into her work is a new medium. She adorns these pieces with a touch of gold. Using gold leaf encapsulations, the effect creates a soirée between color, light and shape within her signature medium.

Each piece offers an unorthodoxed view inside layered optic glass allowing viewers and collectors to admire this curated palette of colors. It is her personal guarantee that no two pieces are ever alike as her style remains consistent in practice.  —CONTRIBUTED
