Watercolorists at Anna
“Mind Over Water” opens Feb. 26 at Galerie Anna.
Participating artists are Toti Cerda, Karen Sioson, Alfred Galura, Dino Pajao, Lito Ballaran, Wilfredo Calderon, JC Vargas, Joie Pabilando, Chris Mirang, Emmanuel Silva, Danny Doce, Carlo Caacbay, Rene Canlas, Tony Alcoseba, Darby Alcoseba, Ton Ton Ador, Happy Navarro and Erwin Mallari.
Artists are all avid watercolorists or use water-based medium of acrylic. They merge medium and subject in totally surprising fashion.

Basilio at Ayala Museum
“Exeunt II,” the fourth solo exhibition of the late Heraclio “Eros” Basilio, is running until March 8 at ArtistSpace, Ayala Museum.
Basilio was preparing for this exhibition when he passed away at 60 in 2017.
“Exeunt” refers to a stage direction in a play to specify that all or certain names of characters leave the stage.

‘Farewell’ at Makati Shang
British artist Philippa Langrish’s exhibit “Farewell 1325-2018” will open Feb. 28 at the mezzanine level of Makati Shangri-La.
Largely autobiographical, the series of figurative, abstract landscapes are in hand print techniques of drypoint, rubber-cut and oil on board, to illustrate the trichotomy of the artist’s family’s nomadic life.
