DLSU holds lit teaching conference

De La Salle University (DLSU) Literature Department will hold “Writing the Classroom 2:

National Conference on the Teaching of Literature and the Humanities,” May 17-19, at the Yuchengco Hall Seminar Rooms 407-409, DLSU, Manila.

This is open to teachers of literature especially those teaching in the senior high school and college.

The three-day conference will have plenary lectures and master classes on teaching literature such as teaching creative writing, teaching creative nonfiction, teaching 21st-century literature, teaching contemporary art from the regions, and teaching popular culture. It will feature a special forum on literary biography.

Dr. Jose Y. Dalisay will deliver the keynote address. The panel forum will feature Cristina Pantoja Hidalgo, Susan Lara and John Iremil Teodoro, and will be moderated by Ronald Baytan.

The early bird conference fee is P1,500, which does not include food and accommodation.
