Two Gerber babies came together in a cute past-meets-present snapshot.
The cute photograph of first-ever Gerber baby Ann Turner Cook, with the latest representative of the infant food brand, Lucas Warren, went online through Cook’s grandson Chris Colin. He shared the snapshot through a tweet on June 5. Cook became a mystery novelist after she retired from teaching. She celebrated her 91st birthday last Nov. 20, 2017.
Warren’s family happened to be on vacation near Cook’s residence when they contacted Gerber and requested a meet-up, according to a statement reported by USA Today.
More than the latest spokesbaby for the baby brand, Warren also happens to be the first Gerber baby with Down syndrome.
Down syndrome is a genetic disorder where an individual has a third copy of chromosome 21. This condition has been associated with physical growth delays, characteristic facial features, and some mild to moderate intellectual disability.
Yet despite the medical condition, Warren won over judges of the eight annual Gerber Baby Photo Search with his adorable smile earlier on Feb. 7.
