June 12, 2018 is a milestone as the Philippines celebrates its 120th year of independence.

To celebrate its significance, the Araneta Center has commissioned the making of a 60 x 120-feet Philippine flag that will hang for the entire month of June on the facade of Cyberpark 1, one of the tallest buildings at the Araneta Center in Quezon City.

Visible to mall visitors as well as to motorists on Edsa, the giant Philippine flag is part of Araneta Center’s ongoing “Independence 120: A Celebration of Filipino Identity.”

‘Sinag Fair’

These provinces – Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Manila, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac – are represented by eight rays of the sun in the Philippine flag. Thus, thematic symbol of the fair is a giant sun with eight “rays.”

Each province showcases the following products:

The “Sinag Fair” runs until June 12.
