Why I’m obsessed with tinted lip oil

The best part about using a lip oil is, they aren’t sticky

Tinted lip oil has been my obsession of late. It is simple and fuss-free. You can swipe it on when in a rush, and it’s great when you’re busy and can’t be bothered with a liner and liquid lipstick. I also like it when I’m traveling and my lips feel dry.

Clearly, I’m not the only one loving the natural-yet-still-cute effect of lip oils, since I’ve noticed more choices at makeup counters. Usually, they come in a tube with a doe-foot applicator. I like that, too, but I find it tricky—you accidentally drop the tube, and chaos will ensue.

So, an easy favorite is the Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil. It comes in a tube with the brush at the end. No need to retouch much. Absorbing the nourishing effects of the oil, your lips are left with a sheer tint.

The oil is a blend of nourishing meadowfoam seed and coconuts oils, so your lips look and taste yummy. They also come in six different colors, quite a good range for different skin tones or simply just for different moods.

A must-have is Rustling Rose to enhance the natural redness of your lips. If you want to have a pouty look, there is Caramel Cloud. For something darker, you can try Misted Plum.

The best part is, they aren’t sticky! No need to worry when the wind blows and your hair makes contact with your lips. –CONTRIBUTED
