MANILA, Philippines – The much awaited Episcopal Coronation of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, the Patroness of Cardona, Rizal, Finally took place on September 27, 2018. The Catholic faithful witnessed with awe and reverence the ceremony at the Diocesan Shrine led by the main celebrant, Bishop Nolly Buco, JCD, DD, the newly ordained Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Antipolo. In attendance was the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Vicentico C. Flores, Jr. together with the parish priests within the Diocese as concelebrants.
The solemn ceremony was preceded by the blessing of the 25-ft majestic image of the Patroness constructed above the Adoration Chapel. This and the Coronation, another milestone in the history of the parish, is an acknowledgement of the deep and intense devotion of the parishioners for the Blessed Mother.
