Yellow Cab’s 5 Boroughs Pizza
Yellow Cab’s 5 Boroughs Pizza

5 Boroughs Pizza. Yellow Cab brings New York to the Philippines with pizzas inspired by the city’s five boroughs. Bronx Creamy Mushroom pizza puts together mushroom, chicken, olives and green bell peppers on Yellow Cab’s first white sauce-based pizza. Brooklyn Spicy Seafood pizza comes loaded with jalapeño peppers, shrimp, crab stick, green bell peppers, tomatoes and capers. Queens Oriental Chicken has a sweet and tangy Oriental sauce base and is topped with chicken, mushrooms, onions, pineapples, spring onion and cilantro. Staten Island Basil & Ricotta Pizza is an instant classic: crushed tomatoes, three cheeses and basil. Then there’s our favorite, Manhattan Steak & Eggs pizza, which is a mix of steak stripes and eggs with steak sauce, onions and green bell peppers.

These pizzas are only available until Jan. 31, 2019, for dine-in, takeout and delivery. You can get them for P499 (regular), P759 (large) and P999 (New Yorker size).

Hank Green’s “An Absolutely Remarkable Thing.” We were so excited when we saw the book cover that we almost screamed. Hank Green wrote a book! We first got to know Hank as John Green’s brother (and their YouTube channel Vlogbrothers). The educator, musician, producer and vlogger also hosts “Crash Course” and “SciShow” on YouTube, and is the cocreator of VidCon. His delightful debut novel, “An Absolutely Remarkable Thing,” is about 23-year-old April May who stumbles upon a giant sculpture that she calls “Carl.” What she doesn’t realize is this moment would change her life. Carls have appeared in cities all over the world and she and her friend Andy get a lot of attention as the first documentarian of Carls. April navigates the craziness of being a viral sensation while, at the same, time trying to unravel the mystery of the Carls.

“An Absolutely Remarkable Thing” will soon be available at National Book Store. Sign up for the waitlist on nationalbookstore.com.

Good Girl by Carolina Herrera New York. We need to talk about how gorgeous this perfume bottle is. It looks like a killer stiletto and the fragrance inside is just as sexy. It’s a mix of tuberose, jasmine, tonka and cacao—light and dark, intoxicating, slightly sweet, definitely delicious.

Good Girl is now available at your favorite department stores.

Loopy Fries.

It’s no secret, we’re loopy for Potato Corner. And our favorite fries company has discovered another way to drive us crazy: by releasing curly fries in select branches. Right now, they’re available only in jumbo size (we need a giga-sized one, please) and they’re really really, really good.
