Friends since 14, now husband and wife

THE BRIDE and groom, both in Pablo Cabahug ensembles, embrace after the rites.

On July 8, 2011, on a cold and rainy Friday afternoon, high-school classmates Bojo Bonifacio and Ronna Capili were married at Ville Sommet, Tagaytay. They exchanged personal vows at a garden ceremony witnessed by 150 of their closest family and friends, officiated by Pastor Ariel Marquez.

The bride wore a white silk chiffon gown with French lace cutouts and the groom wore a dark gray suit with a black bowtie, both by Pablo Cabahug. The color theme was light gray, black and champagne, livened up with shades of pink and red bouquets.

The couple have been friends since they were both 14 years old, but began their romantic relationship only after graduating from university. Bojo is a youth pastor at Victory Greenhills, and Ronna is LOOK Magazine’s associate editor.

After the ceremony, guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres and a six-course dinner by K by Cunanan in Ville Sommet’s glasshouse, filled with black tables, white and light pink flowers, and pillar candles. The simple and relaxed reception highlights were the best man and parents’ speeches, photograph slideshow of Pat Dy and same-day wedding recap edit by Bob Nicolas.
