Florida police responded to a call on Tuesday, Oct. 16, from a gas station as its staff found something that they do not normally see every day — a little alligator.

The Miami Gardens Police Department said police officers surnamed Blanco and Velez responded to a call about a baby alligator having been spotted.

A spokesman for the police department, Carlos Austin, said the gator wandered around the gas station on the early hours on Tuesday. He told ABC Local 10 that the dispatcher said, “You have a what in a where?” on responding to the call.

The Twitter page for the police department later shared photos of the officers holding the animal.

The post also read that the reptile was relocated to its normal habitat, as advised by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation.

In Pennsylvania last July, a woman found an alligator in her own backyard. Earlier this month, another woman from Louisiana found an alligator right at her door stepKatrina Hallare/JB
