Alain Robert, also known as the French Spiderman, brought a busy central London street to a standstill on Thursday, Oct. 25 as he climbed the 755-foot (230 meters) Heron Tower at Bishopsgate without any climbing gear or safety equipment.
One netizen, Charlotte (@CharrrrMc), filmed Robert and uploaded the video via Twitter on the same day.
City of London police asked the public in a tweet to stay away from the area during the time.
There are currently road closures in place on Camomile Street down to Bevis Marks due to a man free-climbing the Sales Force Tower at 110 Bishopsgate.
Our officers are in attendance. Please avoid the area if possible.
