The Korean boy band EXO performed four songs for the MBC Show Champion last Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.  They were “Ko Ko Bop,” “Boomerang,” “What U Do” and “Power.”  The members who flew in the country for the show were D.O., Suho, Sehun, Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Chen, Xiumin and Kai.

The members appeared first on the red carpet for the show.  The walk was short and they stayed only for a few minutes to wave and greet the fans and media waiting for them.

The super boy group from South Korea was still missing ninth member Lay in the lineup.  However, EXO-Ls (their fandom name) got treated to a surprise.  SM Entertainment released a Lay version teaser for their upcoming comeback “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo” on the same night the rest of the members were performing in Manila.

Show Champion was opened by a performance by Xeno-T. They performed three songs, including “O.A.S.I.S”.  They were followed by Hyeongseop X Euiwong who also performed three songs.

The 12-member group The Boyz followed and sang four songs including “Giddy Up” and “Right Here.” The only girl group of the night was the octet Weki Meki and they got to sing four songs for the crowd.  They started with a bop, “I don’t like your girlfriend.”  They ended it with their latest song, “Crush.”

MXM composed of Youngmin and Donghyun showed their range with the four songs they performed that night. Two of their songs included “Checkmate” and “Ya Ya Ya.”

The show was hosted by “Weekly Idol” host Kim Shin-young.  MBC Show Champion was organized by All Access Production.
