Columbia Sportswear relaunches its flagship store in SM Mall of Asia with an all-new retail environment

The outdoor lifestyle brand’s new store draws inspiration from its home in the historic Timberline Lodge, a national landmark that attracts more than two million visitors a year. Visitors can appreciate the new interiors that transition from the outdoor playground to the rustic interior of the lodge.

The new cascade retail environment concept incorporates evergreen photography, prop libraries, and highly customized fixtures evidenced by the fitting rooms and the dramatic amphitheater. The redesigned store comes on the heels of Columbia Sportswear’s 80th anniversary in which the brand continues to innovate with industry-leading technologies like the Omni-Tech, Omni-Heat, and Omni-Grip.

To commemorate this milestone, Columbia is bringing back the limited-edition Bugaboo 80th Anniversary Interchange jacket.

When the 3-in-1 jacket concept was first introduced, it marked a shift in how outerwear was made—wear the fleece liner when it’s cold, the waterproof shell when it’s wet, or wear them together when it’s wet and cold. Now, the revamped Bugaboo Interchange jacket features an Omni-Heat thermal reflective liner and Omni-Tech waterproof/breathable weather protection feature, to battle inclement weather conditions.
