Let it go! Your diet, that is, because Disney is ready for the foodie.
Hong Kong Disneyland will be serving over a hundred new food and drinks across its three resort hotels and on the park to celebrate Christmas and Mickey’s 90th birthday.
A complimentary Frozen Afternoon Tea Set is included in the Frozen Suite of the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, a Victorian palace on Lantau Island (with shuttle service to and from the theme park).
The in-room special includes three layers of sweet and savory bite-size goodies: Spain Iberico Ham with Fresh Fig, Heirloom Tomato Jelly Mozzarella Cheese and Balsamic Pearls, Crab Meat Profiterole, Smoked Salmon Mousse with Caviar on Radish Tart, Lobster and Mushroom with Puff Pastry. On the bottom layer are sweet treats: Elsa and Anna Cupcake and Olaf Lemon Tart. (This can also be served in the Kingdom Club Lounge.)
There are five Kingdom Club Frozen Suites with views of the garden or sea, that will take guests to the Kingdom of Arendale. A suite features “Anna and Elsa” ornate double beds, “snowy” ceiling and Kristoff’s sled couch.
A baby Sven plushie and an Olaf beanie sit by the reading nook complete with Disney books.
The “Frozen” items in the room such as bed runners, hotel slippers, Disney toiletries, tin amenities kit and special key card are gifts for guests to take home.
Walt’s Cafe, also at Disneyland Hotel, will be serving tea and dinner sets, and new holiday items such as Mickey’s Fun Party strawberry drink, and Iced Chocolate Cheesecake.
The Mickey Mouse Happy Birthday Dinner Buffet will be available from Nov. 7-18 at Chef Mickey restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Hotel, which is designed after the grandeur of classic Hollywood.
Guests staying at the exotic Disney Explorers Lodge will also get the chance to make Disney snowman cupcakes in the daily art-and-craft activities.
At Disneyland, make sure to take a break and treat yourself with a Mickey or Minnie marshmallow and crispy rice lollipop.
