It’s the most wonderful time of the year once again.
Do you want to experience the glow of the Christmas season but you’re not brave enough to face the heavy traffic of the metropolis? You can head up south and watch a field of 5,000 LED tulip lights dancing in sync with well-loved Disney music.
Ayala’s Land largest ecotourism estate, Nuvali, has opened on Saturday the highly anticipated immersive light and sound spectacle entitled “Reimagine the Magic: A festival of Lights” at The Fields in Nuvali, Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
Nuvali has teamed up with The Walt Disney Company Philippines for the annual holiday light and sound show.
“As you know, we started with the light show, the lights and sounds show in Ayala Triangle. So this year, we want to partner with an iconic brand because we’re celebrating one of the most relatable and iconic brand which is Walt Disney,” Nuvali Marketing Manager Jennifer Chua said.
Now on its third year, the show features tunes from Mickey Mouse, Disney princess, Frozen, a Christmas medley in orchestral renditions arranged by former HongKong Disneyland musical director Rony Fortich. This is complemented by the lighting effects created by Voltaire De Jesus and Ian Bautista.
Aside from the the tulips and anahaw tube lights, the spectacle is made even grander by the larger-than-life Mickey Mouse-shaped structured at the center of the field as well as the 50-meter light tunnel.
The show will run every 30 minutes from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. everyday until January 13.
