Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray is set to conquer the international stage as she flies to Bangkok, Thailand, to vie for the country’s fourth Miss Universe crown.
Gray on Thursday shared on Instagram a photo of herself at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
The 24-year-old beauty queen from Albay posed in her green and black ensemble while holding the Philippine flag.
“Off to Thailand to represent my beautiful country the Philippines in @missuniverse. Philippines, mahal kita. I hope to make you proud,” Gray wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
In a separate Instagram post, Gray thanked the people behind her glamorous look on the first official day of her Miss Universe stint.
She said: “Mabuhay Philippines and Sawadeeka Thailand!!! Thanks to my amazing team/family for my official Day 1 of MissUniverse glam!”
Gray will try to win another Miss U crown following Pia Wurtzbach’s success in 2015 this coming December 17 at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand. /cbb
